You will be required to work under our Client’s Lead Structural Engineer performing civil and structural design using the software Strand7 (FEA) and Space Gass.  Interaction with discipline drafters is required.

To be considered for the role you must have

  • Min 7 years resource related design experience
  • Tertiary Civil Engineering qualifications
  • Competent with Space Gass or equivalent analysis program

Senior Lead Planner

 

 

 

Reporting to the Project Manager, your primary objective of this role is to prepare and assess detailed project plans for all stages of our client’s project.

Your duties & responsibilities include

  • Leading the planning function during the design and construction phases
  • Developing and administering project schedules
  • Monitoring and updating project schedules, milestones and completion timetables
  • Liaising with the project team and client to monitor trends and analyse their impact on the project
  • Maintaining project management software to ensure target dates are met
  • Assisting the project control team in establishing a project performance index
  • Preparing regular status reports and forecasts for the project management team

Reporting to our client’s Project Superintendent and Technical Director you will be responsible and accountable for the following:

·         Developing, directing and managing the Project Controls function of forecasting, financial control, scheduling, cost and planning processes and procedures to various projects

·         Managing a small commercial team comprising Planners, Cost Personnel, Quality Personnel and Estimators

·         Required to integrate the project controls function between Project Managers, Discipline Engineers, Project Supervisors, and Construction Contractors to ensure a comprehensive planning service than can be relied on by all parties.
